A látványtervet Patrick Bouchain készítette, a fesztivált éveken át vezető legendás gordonkaművész, Msztyiszlav Rosztropoviccsal együttműködve: "Úgy tekintett erre a házra, mint az otthonára, gyakran a nyaralójaként emlegette. A koncertterembe lépve olyan, mintha Rosztropovics otthonába érkeznénk. A varázslatos hangulatot fokozza, hogy meglepetéssel hat a közönségre a belső tér. Mint amikor először megyünk cirkuszba. A mennyezet a trükk. Olyan, mintha kukoricahéjak simulnának egymásra. Olyan látványtervet akartam készíteni, ami Rosztopovics számára megidézi az orosz hangulatot, ehhez a nyír ideális. A belső tér illata amúgyis gazdag a fa aromájában, ez erősíti a hatást."

Johannes Brahms, a romantika korának ikonikus zeneszerzője volt az idei fesztivál fókuszában. Gustav Dudamel, karmester: „Szerintem Brahms istenien bánik a tradícióval. A negyedik szimfóniát játszva egy katedrálisban érezzük magunkat, átitatva a történelemmel."

A Tóparti Szimfónia nevű zenekart kifejezetten a fesztiválra állították össze kivételes tehetségű művészekből. Philippe Berngard művészeti igazgató szerint nagyon különleges együttes jött létre: „A zenészek különböző zenekarok tagjai, más-más országokban. Gustavo Dudamel vezényletével számukra is kivételes alkalom, hogy együtt játszhatnak. A dirigens képes volt azonnal családias hangulatot teremteni, ami segítette a produkció frissességét. Ezek a zenészek nagyon nyitott szellemiségűek, ezért nagyon gazdag élményanyagot hozott a közös munka."

The composer of the age of Johannes Brahms, the romanticism was iconic in the focus of the this year's festival. Gustav Dudamel, conductor: Brahms deals with the tradition divinely according to me. We feel performing the fourth symphony in a cathedral, permeating with the history.

The lake coast symphony name orchestra on expressed one onto the festival it was compiled from artists with an exceptional talent. Philippe Berngard a very special band came into existence according to an Artistic Director: The musicians are different orchestras' members, different one in countries. With Gustavo Dudamel command for them exceptional occasion, that they may be playing together. 

The conductor what helped in the freshness of the performance was able to create homely mood promptly. These musicians with very open spirituality, the common work brought a stinking rich experience substance because of this.
