The English translation of an article appeared in the today's Hungarian weekly paper!
I have to relate that the author of the article, Fáy Miklós is a journalist, a music critic first the world the fan of one largest Domingos. So from the beginning no way, that would write one single bad word down once, would have written down from the maestro's orbit.

Criticism - music 2017. June 30.
You are Domingo apart from categories above categories. Everything is about him always yet if he takes the stage, and not some kind of sajnálkozós on a basis, not too with the sympathy being due of the living legend, not too because of that, that let us be allowed to relate it: I saw. That's all right, it is, that thirty years passed by since then, that Hungary audience in a full opera, may have seen it in fancy dress, through acts. To dream then neither we would have dared from things like this, already that ephemeral he paints his eye always yet after three decades, puts on the fancy dress, and leaves onto the stage. And, carries everything if he is there already.
I could not say that I would be more especially biased with Plácido Domingo, but from me it makes, what he wants, for me on all of them it's important. If Pécs sings in Traviata, then there and it. I admire them sincerely, who tinker dared with the question that you are tenor on a baryte then now for me totally it doesn't matter. Let him sing only. Many people said that who receives a panic because of the altitudes is only a baritone winded up really wisely when there was tenor. He was their truth. Since when on a baryte, many people say it since then, that ow, was not divorcing there for a tenor, does not open there, not there nice his sound, than the was born baritones. They have truth. You are Domingo apart from categories above categories.
Everything is about him always yet if he takes the stage, and not on a some kind of biased basis, not too with the sympathy being due of the living legend, not too because of that, that let us be allowed to relate it: I saw. That's all right, it is, that thirty years passed by since then, that Hungary audience in a full opera, may have seen it in fancy dress, through acts.
They realised this (was not very heavy) Pécs Traviata theatrical people_nation, one which can be put up mostly directing Nagy Viktor, they tried to be equal to this, which is really heavy already on the other hand,. Germont may be a Daddy his main character for the story, the opera has to suffer a thunderbolt after all only. The traditional operatic dramaturgy is: tenor and a soprano like each other, but the baritone ruins everything. This is valid for Traviata, and if try the kelleténél to feel more sympathy for the ruining one, to place our heavy seed in the story then. I understand it naturally as civil one the opulent one (you are the poor one even) a father's troubles, the son of who just fell in love with a courtesan with a national news (yet if we would call Violetta celeb only presumably nowadays), but Traviata speaks about it after all mostly, that onto the happiness and a life sounding last chance the old man takes it away from the young person. Forges old Germont, scolds his son when it behaves so next, logician because of his manipulations, comes finally and forgives when there is no risk already, the woman is dying, and will not get into the family. Not easy to carve a positive hero from this figure, and the question rather it, that there is need for him.
The experiment turned out almost whatever, the contact destroyer Germont turned out rather convincing, the duet sung with Violetta was the apex of the evening unambiguously, in the separate one with a strong organ with a beautiful sound, whey colour (whitish blue one) eye, a Latvian soprano, Marina Rebeka made an appearance in truth with a level already on all good place really stepped onto taller one, merely because Domingo was his partner. In spite of the fact that he was not denoted on Domingo a little bit the oh, I show it now, you are anything similar immaturity, there was present according to the role on the stage, in a sound, in scenic weight equally throughout. Actually the end of the second act it, where it was possible to feel a small one Domingo favour, as he stands by faint Violetta, and releases the woman with an elegant and heartfelt hand kiss, who is his victim mostly in this contact. Responding simply the appeared: let our trouble be bigger never at this.
Our trouble was bigger because of that at this. Mostly with the orchestra, which produced deterrent sound effects entirely with Eugene Kohn management not inspired just,. To this, sure, the sound amplification, the contingency of the placement of the microphones were needed, that from the prologue it was possible to find it out mostly, what the bassoon plays. We would play something else: putty-putty. The insect invasion was the singers' bigger trouble, an astonishing amount of fowl a being flew onto the stage, Domingo's black tailcoat, altogether everywhere and onto everything, it counted as a big victory already so, how they managed to graduate from the three acts without unintentional insect eating. So as if the events would have been going on in a continuous snowfall, the eternal winter is beginning then only then though, if we will not have a chance to listen to Domingo's song.
